Where to and what airline, most have personal entertaining systems nowadays so I would watch a couple of movies, most carriers seel the headset for you to keep for 3-5 dollars.
And many people also go to sleep, I can't sleep in planes.

it shouldn't be that long . If you think about it is not that long
comparerd to a 10 hr flight. Its not that bad that's as short to a flight you can even get to. I've seen kids take their kids to an international flight and they were just fine |

If you're flying on Frontier, DEFINITELY purchase the $5 satellite TV.
Now, I flew on an 18-hour flight once so 4 hours seems short! LOL... |

This may not be for you, but how about initiating a conversation with a stranger? It wasn't too long ago when there weren't too many ways to insulate yourself from the rest of the passengers on an airplane, and it was actually normal to talk to other people.
I've had many flights go by incredibly quickly while sharing experiences with someone new: a first year high school foreign language teacher... a man whose auto parts business was having trouble selling to the Big 3 in Detroit... a soldier on his way home from abroad who was reuniting with his Harley-Davidson motorcycle... and a businesswoman whose languge could quickly turn from sweet to very salty. |
