Wear layers of loose, comfortable clothing that will be suitable in several climates and conditions (your destination, origin, and the planes). Jeans are good, and comfortable shoes and socks are a must. It's good to wear a loose tshirt or a buttonup shirt with an undershirt, and then have a sweatshirt with you.
What to do... you're going to need some sleep, and that'll kill some time, but it can be very difficult to sleep on a plane. So bring ear plugs and one of those eye masks, and a little pillow if you want. You can try sleeping pills but some travellers don't like those. Since there's more than one of you, and you're probably sitting together, bring a deck of cards so that you can play on the tray tables. You can also bring travel-sized games and if you are careful not to lose the pieces, and of course there are crosswords and sudoku galore. If you've got a gameboy, bring it. Of course you will want a music player, and bring a pair of comfortable headphones so you can listen to the in-flight movie, even if it is rubbish. Bring a book, obviously, and some snacks. Those little packages of crackers and a bottle of pop come in quite nice. |

Yea I've been on those flights all the way to China well first Korea then China but it was like 30 hours cuz the flight got delayed..I wore a hoddie and sweat pants, then I got my Ipod and some magizines, then I brought my labtop or psp and watched movied and played games..and brought a book...but if u sleep it goes by a lot faster! |

you should listen to music or watch a movie on a portible dvd player. (it will keep you occupied through out the whole long trip) and you should wear somthing comfortable since its a whole day. |

Light clothes, keep a light hoodie or something warm in your carry on. Bring socks too. Bring a book to read as well. And something intelectually stimulating.; perhaps a sketchbook or notepad and a few sudoku's. |
