Well i can think of a few things that might keep you entertained...

1. Draw, bring a sketchpad and think of something to sketch, if your not talented in art then use it to improve your skills, play tic tac toe, or other games on paper.

2. Bring an activity book of some sort such as Mad Libs, Sudoku, or bring colored pencils and do a paint by number (with pencils) This actually works pretty cool.

3. Where a burka and keep muttering to youtself how it will all be worth it.

4. Read a book that teaches you a new skill

5. Create a gormet meal with airline food

6. Make t to do list for life

There is not much you can do but your flight is pretty short so it won't be that bad.

Sit there and read. What else can you do? Three hours isn't that long of a flight.

Maybe you could read, eat some snacks or food you brought along, sleep for a little bit, write a letter, even if your an adult color a picture, have a restroom break , walk around the plane a little bit, then just look out the window if you are not scared too.

A good book, a deck of cards to play with yourself or the person beside you if he's friendly, iPod, snacks, crossword puzzles, sudoku, a notebook to write down a list of things to do or creative writing, a dvd player to watch a good movie.. 3 hours is not long at all, i'm sure you'll reach your destination before you know it! ;)

Moive would be perfect. A 3-hour flight is just enough time to finish a long movie without being rushed to get your dvd player out and then put it away. You can watch the takeoff and landing and skip the boring part.

couple of magazines, ipod/mp3. should be enough to kill 3 hrs
Incase they are not having any video/audio facilities in airplane.
