What would be the best (and easiest) language to learn as a flight attendant?

jazzy-broad
Spanish, English is actually one of the hardest languages to learn because there are so many variations of it

Mr Smart
The fastest-growing destination for USA-based airlines is China. Learn to speak the most popular dialect of Chinese.

Square Pants
English... hey, its world language right?

hr4me
Spanish, French would be the two more common languages that would be used. But any foreign language would be helpful and give you a better chance of getting hired. Most major carriers require you to have at least one other language (besides English) to get hired on any more. There are soo many flight attendants out there, and a lot of people who were laid off in the recent 3 years who have changed carriers that the competition is stiff for jobs.

Second to English would be Spanish or French. Sometimes the airlines offer incentives to individuals to perfect certain language skills. Consider where you want to fly, and with whom you want to fly. the contact the airline and ask them would the best plan would be.

I guess it's safe to assume you already speak, read and write English, so that's out.
Are you in the US?
With the major expansion of US Carriers into Asia, your BEST bet would be Chinese.
The EASIEST would probably be Spanish. After you master a 'Latin-based' language like Spanish, it'll be much easier for you to pick up an additional 'Latin-based' language, like French, Italian or Portuguese. Good luck

If you would like to work on international flights, French is a must. Chinese would also be highly useful, but French would be easier to learn.
