What would you do if a passenger asks for blanket?

While you are performing your duties; you noticed that there were no blankets available.

Even if there are blankets available I've seen flight attendants claim there weren't any. Don't take that from a flight attendant. The only thing they respond to are firm, assertive instructions.

For rapid blanket service, you should say something like this: "look, why don't you take a break from gossiping for a moment and actually APPLY yourself to your job. See that compartment over there? Hustle your little fanny (used only if the rear is actually small) over there and secure me a blanket. Today would be nice."

Works every time.

GOD Bless you-

Say...just a moment...finish duties and come back to let them know we are all out at the moment..I'm so sorry, would you like a pillow and a coffee instead?

On an airplane?

If i were a flight attendent I would just tell the passenger that I am sorry there are no available blakets on the plane.

What exactly are your 'duties'? Your question made me laugh due to double entendre.

Robert F
I would let them know that there are currently none available. However, I would check to see if has one they are not actively using.

Heck yes! If there are blankets on the plane, give them a blanket for goodness sakes .Flying is stressful enough . A little blanky would be nice. : ) So ask for one from a passenger who is not using theirs and take it to the one that needs it. The plane trip may depend on it.

Andy
When someone asks for something and you are doing something else, like serving drinks, you tell the passenger, I'll get you one in just a minute, you might try looking for one left. And if not, just apologize and tell you don't have anymore available

I would apologize and say that we do not have that service available. Then, offer them other services that you think would make them happy.

beccarenee37
I would do my best to track down a blanket but if there wasn't any then I would apologize and feel really bad. Then I would tattle on the people who are supposed to stock up on the blankets. :)

well, no blanket then. and what by the way are you? another passenger?

Chuck T
Tell the passenger that all the blankets have been rented for $20 each and suggest they purchase a $10 cup of coffee to keep them warm for the rest of the flight :))
