Flights prices are going up due with the environmental issues going on now. The cheapest will be around Â£220 (excluding taxes and VAT). The best way is to google or yahoo : cheap flights from London to new york. To note: the cheapest flights will have no food or you would have to purchase it and there will be more than 1 stops.

I think easy jet is the best value wise
there are a lot of cheap flights but some are not so safe - as i found out by flying with Ryan air which the pilot decided to nearly crash onto the runway!
Not fun...at all
