Whats the worst airline you have ever been on....details!!!

Northwest, Osaka Japan to Detroit. The seats were hard, they didn't really serve that much food considering it was a 12 hour flight, the bathrooms weren't that clean. And when we got to Detroit, we had a connecting flight to Portland, Maine, and we told them what flight we were going on, gave them our luggage, and then just as we can't go back, the screen says our flight was canceled. It was very foggy that day, but the larger aircrafts had the technology to get through, while ours didn't, it was only a CRJ700. We were stuck there for five hours until the next one came, and it didn't even go to Portland, the next Portland was the next day, so we had to go to New Hampshire, where we had to be picked up. Then that flight was delayed another hour, while we were on the play and we weren't allowed to get off, then, it arrived even later that it should have. We got home 9 hours after planned, and they lost our luggage. And it was on the day after Christmas, so we couldn't give out the presents until New Year's. Oh and for the 12 hour flight, there weren't even any movies, when they did give us food, it was horrible. In Osaka, we arrived, they made us get off, go through security, and go right back ono the same plane. (Flying from Detroit, stop in Osaka, continue on to Taipei). Then in Taipei, on the way back, we had to have our carry ons oppened up and searched before we got on the plane, by not TSA, but NWA flight attendants. And that day i lost 25 dollars, but thats irrelavant.

Iran Air LHR-JFK B747 while Shah was still in power...1978 or so...crappy beat-up plane, my seat would not stay upright so I got continually fussed at by fellow pax and flight attendants during pre-takeoff & landing...but on the other hand, the Iranian pax were up and walking about immediately after landing, while we were still taxiing! As an Anglo, I was definitely in the minority on that plane, and felt like it too. Movie was some Disney live-action thing about a donkey in Yugoslavia that played soccer. Maybe the whole trip was just a bad dream....on the bright side, we did not suffer a fatal accident, so I am able to write this today.

My worst flight was with Aeropostal Flight 510, from Valencia, Venezuela to Miami.. It was supposed to take off at 7:a.m and it ended taking off at 11:45 P.M.. because there was something wrong with the plane, at the end they leased a plane with Falcon Air.. and we ended landing at miami at 2:30 a.m... After that we lost our connection flight to Tampa and we had to sleep at the airport for about 10 hours until American Airlines could find us a flight to Tampa, because Aeropostal never did pay us anything or respond to the problem they ocassionated... Aeropostal is a Venezuelan airline

Northwestern flight from Detroit to Tokyo in August 2003. I'm a small person and I had no leg room. There was one extra seat built into each row compared to a plane of the same size run by Chinese, Korean, or Japanese air lines I've been on for long haul international flights. Fewer movies than the Asian carriers as well. I don't know if they discouraged people from walking around, but it seems like people walked around more on other international flights I've taken. I didn't get up much on this flight since I was stuck in the middle. Now I always ask for an aisle seat.

LHR-MNL and back.. they lost my luggage and my seat and PTV was broken..the food was bad as hell(July 2005)

When I was about 10, I travelled from BWI to DFW via Delta. I was travelling alone, so I had to hang with this really dumb flight attendant. Ok, first, the flight to my first stop was bumpy as heck. I never get sick on airplanes and I threw up several times on that flight (sorry if that was TMI). When I was at my first stop, I had to go with this flight attendant who would take me to my next gate. Between that though, she took me to "Dusty's Den", a place for Delta Airlines where children go to hang out between flights if they are going alone. Anyway...this lady forgot I was in Dusty's Den, playing Super Mario Brothers, and left me in there, long enough for me to miss my flight. They didn't even apologize or anything for leaving me there. I eventually got to DFW...the next day. It was the only bad experience I've had with them, but dang it was bad lol.

my worst was on us airways from philly to chicago in 2004 wen we were delayed for 3 hours than we got on the plane and sat there for 3 hours then they said the power was broken so we had to wait 6 hours sit in the back of plane with no leg room or anything it was awful
