It is a very close run thing between Dubai and Singapore. Narrowly Dubai gets it because its shopping experience is slightly better than Singapore. The range of shopping (and prices), at the airport including the ability to win a car and have it shipped anywhere in the world makes Dubai a very exciting airport. Dubai Airport is a microcosm of Dubai itself and the shops are mini souks (markets). |

well, I would have to say Amersterdam/Schipol simply because it is such a large airport. It is like a GIANT mall with a bevy of restaurants and SO many different stores, from Coach and Gucci clothing to chocolates and perfume. It is the perfect way to pass time between flights( I have done so many times before) and it is entertaining to people watch. I would recommend it as an airport to fly through at least once in your life. The only downside is the cigarette smoke, but that is a small thing compared to all the positives it has going for it. |

My favourite, out of all of the airports I have flown to, is Orlando International Airport in Florida (MCO). I love staying in the Hyatt hotel right there at the airport and getting a room that overlooks one of the runways. I can stand for hours on the patio and watch the planes take off and land. |

In the United States I like Detroit. Its clean, modern and easy to get around in. I like the look of the airport. I never mind connections there. Ask me which airports I HATE! Thats more fun to talk about! |

my favorite to fly into is JFK in NYC. Good view as you're coming in and nice long runways. My favorite to walk around in is Detroit for sure. It's the newest most modern airport in the US |

Hands down SFO in San Francisco. tHere is no fast food at all in the international terminal (brand new i might add). this is the cleanest airport i hvae ever seen, free transportation, 2 minute walk to gate max, short security lines, tons of parking |

Stansted. Because if it wasn't for this airport, I wouldn't have such an enjoyable base to work at.
And the design of the terminal is pretty cool too. |

Schipol is nice.
Out of the big three in New York, I prefer Newark. You can take the train right there and it doesn't take an extremely long time. (Try taking the train to JFK and see how long that'll take you.) Plus - multiple security checkpoints cuts down on the wait and there are enough shops and restaurants to keep you somewhat entertained (in terminal C anyway). |

My favorite airports are: San Francisco. Lots of good places to eat. Not the usual franchise crap as in Chicago and LA. Local resturants. Good food, good drinks. Also the airport has clean restrooms as opposed to say LAX where some of the restrooms seem dirty and I have seen grafitti in them inside the gate area.
Colorado Springs Airport. The parking lot bus drivers will pick you up at your car and deliver you to your car. They will assit you with your bags. During a bad snow storm with a full shuttle they delivered everyone to their own car.
Honorable Mention is the US is Houston's G.B. International. The restrooms are well designed. Behind each toilet or urnial is a shelf in the wall. you can play you bags or jacket there and not worry about leaving them on the floor or on a hook on the stall door.
The airport at Sao Paulo, Brazil is nice. Good resturants to eat in. Nice.
Mexico City is like a brand new airport, still remodeling and under construction, but very nice. They have a lot of good places to eat. |
