Midnight to midday - that's the second half of the night and the morning - are AM. Midday to midnight - that's the afternoon and evening are PM. 2:30 AM is at night. 2:30 PM is afternoon. That even applies in America.

Aussie D
its easy america is about 15 hours behind australia eg.7.22 am on saturday in america= 10.20pm on saturday in australia.

AznBuzzUMD
what? there is a difference between am and pm?.. if it says AM i think it means PM... yes. that makes much more sense.

Kirkers
If they are saying PM or AM it will be that. 2.30pm will be in the afternoon and 2.30am will be in the morning. 24hour time does not designate AM/PM.

2:30 pm is afternoon....

2:30 am is the wee hours of the morning

sueby40
2.30pm means afternoon and 8.35 pm is night and 8.35am is morning, 2.30am means morning...albeit early hours of the morning! Hope this helps.

Do you mean it should be in the 24 hour clock and not AM and PM.

It's really simple. OK. AM means morning, and pm means afternoon or evening. AMPM is like 7/11, except when it's Schoney's Big Boy.
