I have heard the cheapest flights are around Feb. Christmas is expensive and so is summer. Or the best thing to do is try to wait until the last minute and buy a ticket on a plane that has reduced prices because they are trying to filll the planes up. |

You can also check www.farecast.com to get predictions if you should buy now or wait based on previous trends.
I also heard (don't know how accurate this is) that Wednesdays at midnight airlines post their sales. |
