When you go up in altitude, air pressure, and amount of oxegen decreases. To compensate, aircraft that fly over 10000 feet are pressurized. The constant change in pressure can cause you pain if you have any cavities, poorly done fillings, or old fillings that are going bad.
The reason is that as pressure goes up, it pushes on the fillings, (or in the case of a bad cavity, the nerves in your teeth. As the pressure decreases the fillings move back out. This movement and/or pressure changes on the nerves is what causes the pain. It don't always happen though for many reasons so it's just a chance you take. |

It hurts some peoples ears, but I never heard of it hurting teeth. It doesnt hurt my ears. |

My teeth dont hurt but my legs always feel like theyre not getting enough oxygen when we take off, but once we get level it goes away... and my chest feels a little hollow...lol
