The Canary Islands are still hot in December and Christmas is great over there, I used to live in Lanzarote. Loads of people go for Christmas, the atmosphere is amazing.

If you go for just a week before Christmas you can get something really really cheap but if you actually want to be away at Christmas the prices will be higher.

Don't leave it too much longer to book, at Christmas prices seem to go up nearer the time and it's usually really busy so limited places left. (that's from experience, paid Â£250 for a one way flight last minute, could've paid Â£50 had I booked and gone a little earlier!!!).

if I knew where you are flying from--and your definition of "cheap"--it would help....of course, over Christmas holidays, about 15 zillion people have the same idea, so fares go up and seats are hard to find.

having said that: if you can get a flight to Bangkok under $1000 US....it is a happenin' town!

Or if you are in the UK, try Oasis Hong Kong airlines for cheap tix to Honkers.

Where are you flying from?? This late you are looking at NOTHING being cheap. US to Australia this late, you're looking at several thousand.$$$. Depending on what city in the US to Orlando you could find a relatively decent price, but you better hurry. Holiday travel is near booked up already and you;ve missed out on the massive price wars.

Tell me the cities and I'll help you find something. But, holiday and last minute are NOT cheap.

i just paid Â£1000 for a flight to sydney - depends if you think that is cheap?

try morocco or tunisa - it depends if your big into xmas. if not morroco is great

Tenerife, Gran Canaria, and Lanzarote are in the Canary Islands. Very cheap (Â£200) weeks there. Four hour flight south from the UK. Average temperature 25 degrees C.
