I always suggest going directly to the airlines website, you get far better deals with them than any travel website AND avoid booking fee's they charge you as well an any travel agent. What you will see is the base fare, so figure atleast $300 in additional taxes and fee's. Kayak, Booking Buddy, Expedia...these sites do not have access to the deepest discounted fares. Travel sites like Expedia, Orbitz, Hotwire, Priceline and millions of others add on booking fee's from $15-$100, and if there is any problems the airlines cant and wont touch these tickets, they are not flexible in anyway and can not be changed for any reason.

I work in the Middle East and travel internationally several times a year. If your departure point is outside of the US, try www.kayak.com
If your departure point is in the US, try www.bookingbuddy.com
There is another website that lists many options for a US departure, www.airfare.com
The problem with this site is they show low prices, then add $300-400 taxes and fees. But, I use it to look for possible flights that match my needs, then book the flights on another site.
Also, it never hurts to try the airline sites. I looked all over the web for a ticket from Dubai to Bangkok. Finally, I tried the Emirates Airlines website and found just what I was looking for, and at a fair price. |
