you can google coupon codes for certain airlines maybe. usually going through expedia and such is more expensive
contact the air line directly. it may even be cheaper to change flights. my bother saved 150 bucks ironically when instead of flying from kansas to california, he flew from kansas to florida to vegas for a day then to arizona and finally to cali. Round trip. who knows why taking more flights is usually cheaper, but it is, so dont be afraid of changing planes once or twice.

I bought what I thought were the cheapest tickets on Delta Airlines Site. Only to be hit with a $100 surcharge by Delta Airlines for my minor children. It was not obvious on the site that this charge would be charged at the counter. My $217 tickett turned into $317. I would not fly Delta there is no guaruntee they will not hit you with some kind of charge. Other people ath the counter were as unhappy with Delta as I was because of other charges applied at the counter.
Delta is after your money fly an honest airlines.
