Where do i buy air tickets if iam starting a travel agency from home?

My first reaction is that if you have to ask that question, you shouldn't be starting an agency at home. Most airline tickets are etickets and require no paper tickets. People get a printed confirmation that they take to the airport. They go to either the ticket counter or to a kiosk and put in their res. number and it prints their ticket. That ticket is presented at the gate.
Very few agencies actually issue tickets.

After a thorough search for the cheapest flights I came across the best place www.travelsupermarket.com (That's a UK site) It searches all available flights and lists them. It also covers Hotels, Car Hire etc..... If you're really serious about setting one up at home then that site will be a great asset to you. All you have to do is book the holiday via that site and add a percentage of commision that will be your payment.

To become a home based travel agent - you will have to go through another agency as they have to have an ARC number that is recognized by the airlines and follows all rules governed by ARC and the FAA . ( not to mention licensed and bonded and insured)

There are many companies out there that you can join and you would split the commission if any ( no US carries pay commission to US Agents)
