If you are departing from the LGW:

Anywhere is Europe is less than 6 hours - the farthest (to Turkey is 4.5 hours). Russia is obviously longer, but this extends to Asia (so does Turkey)
Africa - Tunisia, Morocco are just under 3 hours

Too many countries to mention, but here we go: Belgium, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Luxembourg, Hungary. Czech Republic, Slovakia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, Austria - have a look at the map, it is a lot easier. If there is a specific requirement to your question, please re-phrase the question because this way it will take a long time to answer the question.

Depends where you are flying from and when you wish to go, if its for a summer holiday, Cyprus is lovely from the UK its approx 4 hours and 45 mins. It is the island of love, we got married there.

This time of year a six hour flight from the UK would get you to The Gambia in Africa. I think that is the best heat and sun you could find in six hours.
