I have done the same as you...gone through every search engine possible..and it true sometimes you do better going through the airline but try Kayak, I have personally never had the guts to use Priceline because I am always afraid of what I might get... |

My personal favorite way to get the cheapest airline tickets is to start my search at Yahoo Travel which uses Travelocity. I always use the "my dates are flexible" option. I then search the websites of the individual airlines listed with low fares to see if they are offering any specials. My new most favorite airline is AirTran, they are, however, limited in the cities they service. I have bought airline tickets 4 times since Jan. and AirTran has been considerably cheaper for 3 of those flights. |
