Where were you when the Twin Towers fell?

I will never forget I had just checked in for my trip from Phoenix to Washington National and a supervisor said that the Pentagon had been car bombed. I did not think much of it as I had not watched the news or turned on the radio on my way in. I sat down to do the briefing and they wheeled in a TV and that was the first I knew of what had happened. They still thought it was a small aircraft at that time being we were headed to the east coast we had a delay of an hour and headed to Starbucks to get coffee. While waiting n line a tall well dressed man started laughing and blurted out that the tower had just fell. We still wonder today if he had any connection would he have been on our flight as it was a 757 so lots of fuel.

I was on my way to work when I heard about the first tower and when I finally arrived to my workplace, that's when I saw it collapse on television.

I was trying to find all the planes I was responsible for and trying to make sure they were all on the ground safely. I was shutting down the northeast operations for the airline I work for.

In Branson Missouri with my girlfriend on vacation. We had to drive the rental car back to Cleveland, Ohio since all the flights were grounded.

In bed, i woke up and my mom and sister were crying i looked at the television to see a tower on fire. I didn't know what it was about so i just walked away and had breakfast and got ready for school and in the car my mom told me all about it.
I was in about 3rd grade when it happened so i didn't really know anything about the World Trade Center but now i understand what happened and how incredibly tragic it was.
God Bless those people who died.

In High school -10th grade biology - 3rd hour

My then Girlfriend, now wife and I were in bed asleep. We worked midnights and turned the ringer off to keep a pestering sister from waking us. She would always call and wake us up and act like she didn't know we were sleeping. We had left CNN on and the volume down. My wife looked at the phone and noticed something like 30 missed calls. She looked at the TV and freaked out, we both freaked out, Nothing but smoke and debris everywhere.

We haven't ever turned the ringer off again..... Our hearts go out to those who were lost and their loved ones!

7th grade advisory and science classes. I got to science and saw the second one falling right before the principal made the announcement for the teachers to turn off all TVs/radios.

I was in Rome Italy, with a Travelagency when the manager told me that an aircraft flew into the Twin Towers and another into the Pentagon. Tousands are dead he said.

I did not believe him, those Italians.....

When I came back to the hotel, the receptionist told me the same and has seen my unbelief in my face and told me go to your room and look television.

Now I could see this tragedy

Next day I flew from Rome Fumicino Airport. The airport was deserted, but no extra security..it was to short after.

3rd grade, In class taking a math test. Teacher got a phone call, Started crying and then locked the door. I remember it like it was yesterday.

What is the reason you want to revisit 9/11? Drop it. It was traumatic enough for those of us that live here. GEEZ!
