Which airline? |
I am going to be flying from NYC to Mumbai/Delhi. Which airline should I choose?
Here's what I am looking for:
1. Leg room, and enough of it.
2. Courteous flight attendants.
3. Sensible co-passengers.
4. Clean restrooms.
5. Good food and entertainment.
6. Low-Medium Cost.
7. I would prefer not to change planes, much less change airlines.
Note: I will be flying in coach.

Delta. We have a Boeing 777 that departs JFK and is a direct flight to BOM. Our 777's our awesome. If you want the extra legroom, ask to be put in row 30 or 44. They are the bulkhead seats and have a little extra legroom.
BusinessElite has in seat personal video with 8 video channels, classic arcade games, and Airshow. Economy has in-seat personal video with 6 video channels, classic arcade games, and Airshow. To accommodate for the personal video, power boxes are located under many of the seats in Economy, which reduces legroom. Movies are played on flights longer than four hours. In Economy, you'll need the special double prong headphone adapter to use your own headphones. If you need to purchase headphones, the cost is $2.
The width of the seats are 17" in economy with a pitch of 31-33".
As for the rest of your requests, prices fluctuate, the restrooms are only as clean as the people using them, flight attendants are pleasant and sometimes you just get a hassle of a seat neighbor.
