Virigin Premium ecom seating is looking and feeling tied they are just about to upgrade it so should be market leading again. Currently not much difference in comfort. Virgin a little less formal in service and attitude to BA but both have a good product I would personally take the airline which offered the best price and flight times as both have several daily flights from London

Virgin Airlines is better than BA. There just seems to be a better level of in-flight service, and a greater care of attention to their passengers. Dont get me wrong, BA are good but Virgin are better.

I would choose BA. I've flown both many times, and although the staff are generally better looking on Virgin, they are also usually less polite.

i would recommend virgin atlantic the service is better and the aircrafts are too, but it is personal preference at the end of the day

The big difference is service. The equipment they fly is identical. It is either a Boeing 747 or Airbus 340.
The pilots are pretty much trained the same way so that isn't really an issue...however the cabin attendants and what you get for your money is what decides for you. Both are great airlines...I have to go with Virgin however.
