Which airline is best to fly to Atlanta from London?

I am proposing to fly to Atlanta next Feb and need to go either premium economy or business class as we need the extra legroom, and trying to compare airlines and seat pitches on the internet is giving me headaches hopefull someone out there can help.

There are only 2 airlines serving London-Atlanta nonstop--BA and Delta. For a February departure, I recommend waiting to purchase as late as early January, as BA often put economy and economy extra (or whatever they're calling it these days) on sale. I remember last winter they had E-Extra for $150 more than the sale economy fare--each way--which was superb value. This was a sale direct from http://www.ba.com

I like Delta. The delta website makes planning a trip easier: they book in months in advance, lets you compare prices for different departure dates, reserve a specific seat. Their business class isn't so bad. They always have provided what I paid for, never lost my luggage. And, they use the mid-size jets that can go into any airport -- you don't have to connect again once you're in Europe. Winter flights are cheap.

Delta from Gatwick is best direct flight, for no stops or BA from Heathrow.

Departing

Airline : British Airways
Departure City : London (Gatwick)
Arrival City : Atlanta
Flight Time : 9 Hours 35 Minutes
Class : Premium Economy (World Traveller Plus)

Back To London

Airline : British Airways
Arrival City : London (Gatwick)
Departure City : Atlanta
Flight Time : 8 Hours
Class : Premium Economy (World Traveller Plus)

Total Cost Per Adult Including - Taxes, fees, charges and surcharges - £920.80

Buisness Class

Departing

Airline : British Airways
Departure City : London (Gatwick)
Arrival City : Atlanta
Flight Time : 9 Hours 35 Minutes
Class : Buisness/Club

Back To London

Airline : British Airways
Arrival City : London (Gatwick)
Departure City : Atlanta
Flight Time : 8 Hours
Class : Buisness/Club

Total Cost Per Adult Including - Taxes, fees, charges and surcharges - £2,375.80

Personally I Wouldent Pay £2,375.80 For One Adult On Buisness Class/Club, That Price For Premium Ecconomy (World Traveller Plus) Is A Good Price Though And I Would Say 7" Extra Legroom Is Enough Anyway.

atlanta airport is a delta hub, and i think lufthansa flies as a partner with delta, i would vote lufthansa. i travel with them atl-berlin a lot and really enjoy it. try to get an exit row if you are in economy class-- there is more leg room.

I say Delta. We have Boeing 777's flying there and those planes are awesome. I have provided a link for you for the seat pitches and such:
