Which airline is better: Northwest or Continental? |
I'm flying from D.C. to San Antonio. The prices are almost the same so I was wondering about leg room, in-flight entertainment, etc. (I tried going to both of their websites which didn't help much.) |

I have flown on both airlines and I would say I think Continental is the better of the two. You will probably get a free meal with Continental. On Northwest, you would get the chance to buy something on board or get nothing at all. Leg room is about the same, but I still prefer flying with Continental. |

I would say they're probably about the same, as far as customer service and legroom and in-flight entertainment. (They probably don't offer much or any). But they're still probably the two best domestic airlines in my experience. I would go with whichever airline has the more convenient flight times or connections. If it's worth anything, Northwest has better hub airports - Memphis, Detroit, and Minneapolis. Two of Continental's hub airports are pretty bad, Newark and Houston (not THAT bad but not the best either). |

Northwest is the best when it comes to entertainment and leg room. They are very high class when it comes to that. Continental is good also, but there tickets are a little cheaper than Northwest. |
