Which do you prefer front or back of the plane to be seated?

i personally prefer the cockpit....it has a great view, its quieter, the seats are fuzzy, and you control the airplane. You cant get much better than this. If you would like seats in this part of the plane, you have to become the pilot. I can only speak of this since i am a pilot, and i sit in the cockpit.

Hi,front is the best not only are you one of the first ones in the air but you also don't have to deal with the roar of the engines on the wings but for me the best thing is that they start to serve the food from front to back leaving you with a full tummy FIRST!!!LOL and you are the first one to leave the plane wich is always an extra bonus.........cheers!!!

I got stuck in the back once -- near the "kitchens." The entire ride there I thought I smelled burnt rubber.

I was freaking out-- I thought there was something wrong with the plane's mechanics.

It just turned out that it was really crummy meatloaf.

And besides, there tends to be a bit more leg room in the front, for some reason.

I've only been on a 4 seater once and the back was fine.

Yes the front there is a difference btw the drag & sound.But safety wise would be at the back

ah..back or middle just not the front. and definitely the window seat. sitting in the middle with nothing to lean on and nothing to look at can get tiring after a couple hours.

If I'm flying non-rev I'll take any seat I can get! If my friend is working, I prefer to sit in First Class where he can wait on me.

If I'm flying with my service dog, I *always* sit in a bulkhead row, which is usually in the front.

If I'm flying by myself I like to sit towards the back where I don't have to deal with a bunch of people and I have a better chance of getting a row to myself.

On ALL flights I prefer to sit on the asile since I have to potty quite often (I swear the pressure squeezes the pee right out of me).

Unless I have a tight connection I could care less about being the first off the plane. I prefer to wait until almost everyone has deplaned before I try to make my way off. I hate being in front of some huffy business man who thinks I'm not moving fast enough for him. I'm sorry I move slowly, but I'm disabled so deal!
