Which plane seat to sit in? |
My grandparents booked me, my sister, and my cousin (as well as themselves) on a flight to Switzerland next week. We are flying Delta on a 767-300ER - boeing. My grandparents are in Business, while the three of us are in Coach. I've never been in Coach before (flights are free with my dad so we get first), so I'm wondering where I should sit in this 2-3-2 configuration. We are in row 18, seats E, F & G. This is the last full row in the first coach section. I checked Seat Guru and it said that Row 18 Seats C, D, & E have more legroom, which is a DEFINITE plus for me because I am very tall. It also says that F and G have limited seat pitch, which could result in even more limited leg room. In seat E, I would get more leg room, as well as the opportunity to set my feel in the isle to stretch out. Unfortunately I would be spread out away from the other 2 and I would have nothing to lean on. What do you all think? Additional Details Continuing on...
Pro's of seat E:
More Leg Room
Stretch out more
More comfortable (maybe)
Con's:
Far away from sister and cousin
nothing to lean on to nap
no window view
*****
My biggest issue is with the window/fuselage
I would like to have a view out, but I am also very concerned about the ability to lean on the fuselage to nap. Is this a big issue with some people? |

I think that putting aside your information I would check with the others first. If you are the tallest you should have first dibs on the seat with the most leg room. But it would also be very gentleman-like of you to take to seat that is away from the outhers (especially if your cousin and your sister get along very well and like to talk). You could also take turns in different seats. If you plan to sleep alot, it shouldn't be a problem being away from the other 2. |

Figure it out when you get on the plane. Maybe an aisle seat so you can stretch out into the aisle. |

Sit where your most comfortable. You dont want to be on a long flight and not be comfortable. You wont be a happy person once you land . |

i try to get next to the window but that's only seats a and b. Try going for e. Make sure that you're on the edge. That way u can stretch your legs if they get sore. |

If you sit in a front seat you will get there sooner than if you sat in the back seat. |

Get E if you can.
But maybe you're thinking too hard about the whole thing. |

I prefer the aisle seats because I like to be able to move around more freely. If you're tall, I think that would be a good place for you. |
