me! i'm 27 and never flown in a plane, nor do ever want to.
the odds are better to get in a car crash than a plane crash, but the odds are better to die in a plane crash. |

Having a plane crash is like over 1 in 2 million if the weather is clear you have a very small chance of anything going bad, if you arent flying over any large bodes of water (seas and ocean) you should be fine, Flying is fun when you get used to it, you need to trust technology we've been flying since the 20"s or 30's we have much more advanced systems with less danger now , they even have put missle jammers on some commercial airliners now |

There is a very low chance of crashing, I love flying, don't worry about it. You should be fine. |

i am very anxious when I fly--ask doctor to give you a olow level valium...take it 1/2 hr before you board the plane. You will be sleepy and you will be fine. if i can get name of the pill I take, i will email you. Really--it is great!!! |

I've flown a lot and still hate and fear it as well. When the plane shakes, it mortifies me. Have never gotten used to it. Chances of crashing, as you know, are almost zero. Still, can't help but feel that my plane is the only one that will crash within the next hundred years. I don't have an answer for you, only that I agree. Chin up, you should be fine. |

I am scared of flying too. The thing is I do it at least once a month, u think I would be ok with it by now. I actually just started flying back in November. It was my first plane ride from Michigan to California. It's not oo bad though once you get up in the air and get going. I'm always terrified that the plane is going to crash or fall out of the sky. LAME! But I always here flying is safer than driving
I found this online...
In the US, each year there are about 40,000 deaths per year in automobile accidents vs. about 200 in air transport.
I just bring things to keep me occupied like dvd played, books. But turbulance really gets me and those seat belt lights that turn on scare me too. |

I am very scared of flying. The chances of crashing are very VERY slim, but the fact that I am way up in the sky scares me. Just think that the people flying the plane know exactly what they are doing. I also like to watch the flight attendants faces and see how calm they always are. that usually helps me. Good Luck! |

I don't fly, period, and it's Biblical, too. Cause the word infers that He won't be with me if I fly, (except, of course, when I take my "final" and only flight to heaven)
Matthew 28:20 Â
....Lo(w), I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. ha ha ha lol (play on words) |

Flying use to be fine with me until I flew to Denver Colorado.....There was this huge storm circling the airport, and when we went to land it was shaking the plane like crazy and making rock from side to side.
The lightning from the storm was so close I could swear I could reach out and grab it.
So we are going in for the landing and just before we hit ground the pilot pulls up and announces that she needs to wait for clearance. So we are just circling the airport and then notice that fire trucks and ambulances are lining the runway....
Finally we go in for another landing and we hit ground rather roughly but make it.....after that I never wanted to fly again. |

Google or Yahoo, "Virginia Atlantic fly without fear club." She will send you free CD that will help. You can even join her club !! If flying really-really upsets you, call your local airport and ask to be transferred to the Supervisor of the Mechanics. Explain your situation. Now I'm not sure if things work now as back in 1966 when I worked for TWA (in Philadelphia, Pa), but we used to let passengers sit in on a flight that was just parked at the gate without the engines running. Somehow sitting in that seat when everything was quiet seemed to help. We used to tell them to pretend your sitting on a different kind of bus.
To really top things off, I would tell them my flying joke: About 45 minutes after take-off the ships Captain comes on the P.A. system and say's , "Good afternoon Ladies & Gentlemen, in just a bit we will reach out crusing altitude of 34,000 feet. If you will look about your seating area you'll notice this flight is TWA's new modern design with many features to help make your trip simply wonderful. You'll also be a guest for lunch. Today you'll enjoy Boston Beef Under Glass, quite a treat. Almost forgot, you lucky folks are the 1st to experience our new automated flight without a live crew... This is a recording !!!" |

When I was small I was rather scared of flying because it seems like I'll throw up, but there's not much chance of crashing. |

I love it.
I think it's so cool, and fun.
I love to look out the window and see all the clouds.
It's not your fault that your scared of flying, so is my mom.
You'll be over it soon.
Just don't think about crashing.
It's a one in a million chance.
