To be straight these aren't waitresses, they are flight crew members. They don't work for you, but are willing to help make your flight more comfortable. In a crisis, its they who are in charge.

But I've never had rude FAs. They've always been rather polite to me.

I have. But I've also had plenty of really nice ones...I guess it's like anything else in life there are always the bad apples...or perhaps they were just having a bad day?

There are many many more rude passengers than there are rude flight attendants. I've always found flight attendants to be very patient and helpful, and if you ran into one who wasn't I have no doubt that person has had to put up with several jerk passengers before she/he came to you.

In all my past trips, i had nice flight attendants. They were nice and great people.

Yes....but remember they are dealing the public....a tough job! They have bad days just like everyone of us.

I just keep in mind that if anything was to happen to the plane that they are the ones we will turn to.

I have. I was on a very small airplane and it was pretty windy out. The tail was going back and forth - side to side and I was getting really sick to my stomach. When I discovered no barf bag, I asked the flight attendant for one (we weren't allowed to get up) and was told "if you THINK you're going to be sick, you will be". Then the SOB walked away. Needless to say, he got reported.

I have. The guy made us go through the entire safety instructions twice because "not everybody was paying attention." It was mostly a business flight- most everyone had flown before. He was rude about it too, walking down the aisles snapping at people. It did not make me want to get on a plane from that company again.

Well i guess they get cranky being in the air all the time and having to smile and act like maids. Plus some people on the flights show no respect to them with grinds their gears.=D

ladii i had a guy so rude they banned me from the airline cuz he got snobby with me and then refused to apoligise to me when he elboed me "on ACCIDENT" and i got up and kicked his *** , i was in college at the time and a ameture wrestler and boxer, the airline was ATA but they went bankrupt, i broke his nose and he had to sit in agonizing pain of a broken nose and an the embarrasment of an *** whupping for a 4 hour flight to chicago unfortunatly i was arrested but beat a charge or assult with intention inflict bodily harm
