They take away 5 points for every question that you ask unfortunately

5 points a question

Mike R
because it costs you 5 points to ask a question

cherub
when you ask a question you are deducted five points and you are told that. You gain two points when you answer a question, one point when you visit the site, three points for choosing an answer as the best and ten points for being voted the best answer. To gain points aim to answer more than you ask.

You lose 5 points for answering a question!
When you are signed in, and it says your name, level and how many points u hav near the top on the left hand side, click on the points it says you hav and it will show you a break-down of what u gain and lose points for!

Hope that helps!

DolphinLami
Click on the number of points you have and it will tell you everything. You have to pay 5 points to ask a question.

dawleymouse
Costs 5 points to ask. You;ve just spent another 5.
I've gained 2 for answering, thanks

Asking a question 'costs' 5 points.
You earn point back by answering (2 points for every answer)

Because every time you ask a question, they take away 5 points.. when you answer a question, you get two points... if you asked a questiion, you get 3 points if you choose a best answer.. It is somewhat confusing.. But.. in the long run, you do NOT get a new vehicle if you win... Actually.. you win nothing

soccerknocker199
it cost points to ask questions and you earn them by answering questions so to get some you have to givwe some

Man, it is ok. Your answer costs you just 5 points, if you had asked from any professional advisor, had cost you in 100+ bucks. So do not worry, it is cheap.

All your other answers are wrong, a secret hacker on level 8 steals points from new members and hopes it`s not noticed.
p.s thanks for my 2 points.

arydia
you lose 5 points every time you ask a question; you gain two for answering, 10 for a best answer and three for picking a best answer on one of your own questions

Each question you ask will cost 5 points. Make sure that you choose a best answer as you'll get 3 points back.

And answer as many questions as you can (with sensible answers) and youre points tally will rocket.
