Becuase we have forgotten how great it is to be in touch with nature. We're so much into the city life and technology that when someone goes to a native country and see that, I guess you can say, they get jealous. It's a wonderful thing. They don't have the stress and the worries that we consider stress and worries. And to see that is just awe inspiring. It makes them, for a brief moment, want to walk in there shoes and be one with nature and not have the worries of their every day lives. I'm pretty sure they're not trying to be mean, they're just being envious. |

But that's why you have poor people so rich people can feel good about helping, just enough not to much otherwise they might not be poor anymore, Then who would the rich patronize.
If you work out how much is being spent by Footballers wives this WC could probably help reduce the debts of all of Africa.
The likes of Bob Geldof and pop idols spent on luxury hotels private yachts etc.
The amounts Kofi Annan wastes just in the UN HQ all of these could eradicate poverty but they would all be out of a job and have no chance of a knighthood or Nobel prize.
Some Afro American Rappers wear more gold than some African countries earn in a year.. |

Guess they do not know how to start a conversation with them, using nature is the only way to start a conversation first. Rich people would not start a conversation in a poor country by saying
"wow, that Ferrari is the latest model" would they? |

I don't agree with your statement that they have no choice because they are poor. Yes they are poor, but they also enjoy being a part of nature. Its embedded into their culture, religion and beliefs.
As for the rich White ppl saying that, it makes me want to throw up. I hate when White people steal other cultures, it makes me sick. |
