Why do so many gay men work as Air Stewards?

I know it's true but why?
There must be a reason

ascoile
Beacuse they see it as a traditional female job and they like to pretend to be female.

It is stereotypically a woman's job. Many gay men see themselves as quite effeminate, woman's job + effeminate man = male air steward. This is just one way though, another reason is that you get to fly all over the world and see places.

Techwing
Homosexual men are disproportionately prominent in many occupations, but the reasons are not fully understood. Service professions and sometimes professions traditionally held by women seem to be in this category. Flight attendants are service professionals and they have traditionally been mostly female, and so a lot of male flight attendants are homosexual, so much so that it has become a kind of stereotype (one based on real-world data). However, not all male flight attendants are homosexual. I suspect that the heterosexual male flight attendants join the profession for different reasons and get a different type of job satisfaction from the work than the homosexual male FAs, but since the reasons for this phenomenon are not known, it's hard to speculate.

I thihk that gay men are more caring than straight men, they want to look after the customers....

They do not want to break their nails.

who cares?

pays well

Because they work with some rather attractive women and if they were normal macho men, then there would be lots of unwanted pregnancy, cat fights, jealousy etc. as they often are in close contact and away from home together.

Well a straight man will never take up a womens job.
But a gay man is sort of a women with male parts so why don't they.

Gays work as fashion designers and straight men don't.
Same prensible
