it all depends on the airline, however if your daughter can walk by herself the chances are no. any assistance they need has to be legitimate.

nope! You have to wait outside. I go through o'hare all of the time and they don't let any family inside to the gates... you can help them at baggage claim though! You can't get a gate pass... you can say goodbye after they get their ticket from the counter and just before they go through security.

I work for an airline and yes if you go to the ticket counter with wife and daughter passes are available through security. But if there was any security problems national or in the airport that day then you won't get one.

Not anymore, unless you have a ticket you can't go to the gate. Just say goodbye before they head to the gate, just make sure she gets to the gate at least 10-20 minutes before it boards
