Will my dog be allowed in the plane cabin?
I have a pretty small Cavalier King Charles spaniel and I wanted to fly from Poland, Europe to Canada. Will my dog be allowed to be in a crate in the cabin, will it be allowed in the cargo area, or is it not allowed at all?
Also If I need to travel with 3 breaks which means I will take 3 airplanes...how is that gonna work out?
I need information! thank you.
I'm not sure but I don't think dogs are allowed on planes inless your dog is in your lap...
nharchgirl
You need to ask the airline you are flying with, they are the only ones who can answer that.

I certainly hope not. Having a dog in the passenger cabin is not very courteous to the other passengers since the crate would take up alot of space, some passengers have pet allergies, it is not very sanitary, and it presents the whole "going to the bathroom" issue.. especially on a long haul flight such as yours. I HIGHLY doubt they will let an animal in the passenger cabin but i certainly wouldn't recommend it even if they did. Pets belong in the cargo area, Period.

I do not know depends the plane company. You might need a cage or muzzle and keep it on your lap etc...And if someone is allergic to dogs then you'd not be able too or other unexpected problems.

Regulations differ from carrier to carrier, you should contact your travel agent to make these arrangements for you. Get a copy of these travel arrangements in writing accompanied with your tickets too avoid discussions with check-in personal in the respective airports.
Good luck and a pleasant flight.

no...u have to put your pet in luggage area......i feel sorry for your dog....

It would have to travel in the cargo hold in a appropriate cargo hold container box and sufficient food and water supplied in the box as no one will be allowed into the cargo hold to check on the condition of the dog once it has been loaded on to the aircraft.
i would suggest you speak to the airline you will be travelling with i am assuming it is LOT if you are travelling from Poland, the dog will then have to remain in quarantine for a period of time and you will need to have vet clearanc certification to say your dog doesn't have any infectious diseases present at time of travel.
kuppkake
you need to go to the website for each airline and check their policy for pets...they all have different rules
sassy2
One option is to actually pay for a seat for the dog. Every Airline company has different rules also there is the quarantine regulations to consider. If your do is crated in cargo, he will be left behind if the temperatures are to cold. You need to check with the airline.
