They'll end up with a full refund, brand new microwave, 200 curly wigs each, his and hers matching shell suits, and they will be back on incapacity benefit for "post traumatic" stress by the end of the week. |

Refunds for the journey (as per EU rules which apply to both scheduled AND charter airlines) but not for any football tickets. The airline may have offered them a later date to travel but obviously it's no good to them - however, that's pretty irrelevant to the laws.
I have to agree that Lord and Saturnfi both have very funny answers.
If they have travel insurance they may get additional compensation from their insurance company.
I'm not a footie fan but I do feel for them. |

However I thought I would just let you know that I have been on this yahoo for quite a long time and your answer from 'saturnfi.....' was the funniest thing I have ever seen on here. |

Because it's a charter, they will not receive additional compensation unless they took out insurance. A charter's liability is only to refund all monies expeditiously if the flight can not go. |

God that is an absolute sickener.They will get Plane refunds but that will be no consolation.I hope Liverpool thrash Milan by the way,the f***ing eye-ties shouldnt even be in the competition |
