Its much safer to fly now. Consecutive attacks don't happen because security gets bumped up so high right after the first one. |

I'm afraid to fly regardless of the moment. |

I would fly - I wouldn't let anything like this put me off. I flew to the US 2 weeks after September 11th. Just after an attack like this is the very safest time to fly. |

I wouldn't let it stop me. We're not really safe anywhere, be it from terrorists or plain thugs, whether on foot, car, train, plane. |

if we live our lives in fear, whether it be of flying or whatever, then what quality does our life have? Sure things will happen that are frightening, but if those things are allowed to rule our respective lives and prevent us from doing things that we want or need to do, then "they" win because they are controlling that facet of our lives.
Get on that plane and head off to wherever you were going!!
Good luck!! |

No .why should I.You sound as though you wern`t alive in the 1970s /early 80s when the IRA were on the offensive in London Birmingham and NI.it didn`t stop people then and it won`t stop people doing what they want today. |

No I wouldn't be afraid, your fear makes them a winner and sorry but no one is going to get the better of me, I've waited a long time to start my travels round the world and no form of terrorism is going to stop me living my life. |

Hi, No i would not be afraid to fly, because security will be so tight. I was on a plane in Cyprus that was the target of idiots, they just wanted to disrupt the flight. We all had to get off the plane and we were delayed 24 hours i was travelling alone and my family back in the UK were "out of their minds with worry" but i knew when we eventually flew home that the plane was safe (the plane had been flown back to England and thoroughly checked over) it was frightening at the time, but it has not put me off air travel i vowed they would not scare me again. |

I think I would be if I had to fly but with the UK being on critical and all the high security every where it's probably safer. |

i would fly i think the fact that the cowards are attackin the outside of airports because the security checks have increased inside the airport since 9/11 etc i would start worryin more if planes started gettin attacked again but for now we're safe |

I will still fly whenever and wherever i want to, I will not let a few idiots ruin things, that is whatt they want |

No, I am flying on Tuesday in fact. If we live in fear of everything that could happen to us, not only would we never leave our beds but that would also let the terrorists win! |

no, im flying off on hol in 12 hrs time |

Hey..... with all the things that are happening in our world today if we stopped doing the things we want ... through fear .....then that would surely be worse than something actually happening to us. |

No - flying is statistically a lot safer than sitting in a motor car, terrorists or not. |

Hey if you are too afraid i'll have your ticket. You must never let these scum make you afraid , they'll get theirs sooner or later. |

life goes on. if it's destined to happen, it will eventually happen right?
so yes, i'll continue to fly..in fact, air tickets might be cheaper since other people prefer to stay "grounded"?
heh. |

This is where statistics messes with everything, as you still stand a better chance dieing within 5 miles of your home in a car accident.
Possibly even being struck by lightening.
Can't change your life, just because some middle eastern nut jobs want to change it. |
