I probably would. I know how it feels if you have to sit in another spot without the one you are traveling with and it sucks. If I was alone and it was for them to not get separated yes I would. |

I am going to answer this with a deep locial thinking. If that were the last plane ride all of you were on would you be happier sitting by the window or knowing that you let the couple that had probably been married for most of their life taking their first flight for their 50th honeymoon, spend their last moments together. Life is too short and you may never know how happy you can make someone by something as simple as "giving up your window seat". |

I would be more than happy to give up a window seat. I prefer the aisle anyway.
Cheers :-) |

Yes I would |

yeah most likely. If the plane went down at least they would be together. |

Sure, if its somewhere i´ve gone to already, i would switch seats to the aisle. its no big deal...
Take care..

Yes. I have a had a couple of times that I was flying alone and a couple or family had to be split and I moved from my window seat to allow them to be together. |

Yes because the old man doesn't have much longer to live. Make the best of his life even on a plane. :) |

Yes.
No real reason not too.
A flight, for me, right now, is a transition, the "Chapter 47" part of my life. For them it could be a big part of the adventure of their lives and I will never deny another a chance at an adventure if I can help it. |

Definatly, just outta respect ya know? Even though I DID come early so that i CAN get the window seat. It could be their last trip to someplace. |

yes, because its dosent matter in the long haul what seet you had on the plan, the joy of knowing you mad those people happy should be enough |

of course. my parents told me this story of how their airplane tickets got screwed up on the honeymoon, and they ended up having to sit on 2 totally opposite ends of the plane and nobody would move for them. i really don't think that ever needs to happen to anybody, so i'd definitely move. and besides, i prefer the aisle anyway... |

i donno...maybe....most likely i would, but i usually travel w/ my son...and if they don't mind sitting with a crying baby....
how about you. |

It depends, if I was sitting next to my wife...Yes, then he could have nagging in stereo. |

i dont know probably so depending on the day i dont think i would be able to say no because that is rude but it just depends on the day and my mood |

Nope. I always carefully select my seats, booking them weeks before my flight. It's not really my problem that they didn't.
Although the point is moot, because I always get an aisle seat. |

No... I feel more comfortable in the window seat... ill tell him to go check with the steward first if there are any empty seats where they can move.. or simply as the person next to his wife to switch seats with him! I wouldn't give up my seat... |
|

Bareasskmeagain
|
No, No because you checked in early for that seat and they did not. It is not a big deal for them to be separated on a plane.. . .I would not do it either if the exchange seat is not to my location liking |

No, they should have got there earlier. It's not like they haven't seen each other for awhile and got a lot of catching up to do. let someone else swap. They will try the gilt trip. |

I would politely say No. It's only for a few hours. But I would have second thoughts since he's an old man. If his wife is old as well, I might reconsider. But if she's like my age or even younger, NO way! LOL! |

To tell you the truth I wouldn't. This causes to many problems this was your seat stay in it. What is he going to do shoot you . If their old they have had enough time together i'm sure they could not sit next to one another for a plane ride. |
|

Brian P
|
probably not, sad to say it but they could have booked earlier and got prefered seats just like you did. if one of them had first class and was willing to trade places with your coach ticket you bet your backside i would. |
