You're surviving a plane crash. Would you rather be in a tropical jungle or in the middle of an ocean ?

How will you survive ?

A Tropical Jungle.
Gather what I could from the wreckage, build a shelter, look for a clean water supply, find food hopefully, build a signal on the beach so planes overhead could see it.

But what do I know, the closest I've been to lost, is when I took the wrong exit off the interstate.

In the ocean. At least they will find you there. In the jungle, you will never be found ...and chances are eaten before rescue. Mu husband and I have had this discussion many times before. He is from South America and has been to the jungle many times.

Tropical jungle of course, at least you got land and some source of food. In the middle of the ocean has nothing, and you just wait to die before the plane sinks into the water.

Ocean...odds are some navy will come to the rescue. Imagine the media coverage. In a jungle, you will most likely be killed by animals albeit neither are too good.

Jungle, look for water first, take it from there

zabadass
well probably in the jungle, it would be hard to build shelter on the water. and i would survive with my natural instincts

Jungle.

Salvage what I can from the Plane, first aid kit, water or beverages.
Try and get a feel for where I am and how far away civilization might be. Too far to walk hanger down around the wreck and take stock of surroundings and supplies. Look for resources. Yummy bugs, water, edible plants.

I'd much rather be in a tropical jungle. For starters, you don't have to worry about drowning or severe hypothermia. You can build a shelter and possibly a fire. You can find plants or animals to eat.Your chances of survival are greatly improved if you can conserve energy ,which is much greater in a jungle than in the middle of an ocean.

I would rather be in the jungle. I would get hypothermia in the ocean. Plus, I hate sharks and I am sure there are plenty of them.
