Also, if the plane crashed and there's no supples or anything..... how do I hear the radio report about the search party giving up ?

If it's truly canibalisim or death.... The weak go first, and yes... I'd kill anything to feed my daughter and ensure her survival if she was with me.

I think the first step is to asses whether the dead will provide sufficient food to last until Spring.
If not, pre-empt any life or death lotteries in the future by quietly killing the other survivors one night, thereby ensuring your own survival until the spring.

Of course. If you really want to survive, you would take whatever means necessary. If you don't feel right eating a human, then hunt, descend the mountain, or die.

Eat the dead.....or become the dead! So yeah. Then move onto the living, after all it is survival of the fiittest in that situation unfortuately for those who you eat!

I thought about this after watching the film, and i am one of those passengers that wouldnt do it, not through any moral highground, im the kind of person whos mind rules their stomach, and i just dont think i could swallow raw human flesh, even if it meant dying of starvation. Well Done to those of you that could.

People will do things they never dreamed they'd do if they are about to die. Everyone will eat a dead person if they are starving. As Americans, we don't know that desperation but it is in everyone of us who have a will to survive.

Yes definitely. I would have no qualms about eating the dead if my on survival depended on it. There's no way I would sit there and watch the bodies rot while I starved.

If I thought that they would last us till we could climb down the mountain then sure I would. If they wouldn't, they why bother eating them?

Ah, but if your icy mountain was the boarder between two countries, and you didn't eat them; where would you bury the survivors?
