I am from Buenos Aires but never been to Mendoza. They say is one of the most beatiful places in Argentina. Why don't you come over and visit Mendoza and the rest of Argentina instead of wasting your energy and risking your life for nothing trying to climb the Aconcagua.Good luck.

It is not dangerous since there are some routes to get to the 6.962 meters high summit according to personal skills.
Being a good runner helps very much. Also to climb first some slightly lower mountains of the surroundings to get your body accustomed.
Best time to climb the Aconcagua is between late November and early January. There are plenty of climbers from almost all over the world for Christmas and New Year approaching the summit.
The Aconcagua is located in the Aconcagua Provincial Park.
Mendoza city is a lovely place, capital city of the province.
