Anyone know of a reliable apartmental agency in Buenos Aires?

I am visiting BA but think I might stay longer term. I have heard some dramatic stories about rental places and I d love some positive recommendations. Also, Id like the agents to speak English.

Haha, I think anyone who has visited BA has heard some real horror stories about renting apartments - rats, no hot water, and the occasional roach fiestas. The local people here are wonderful but are not very good in customer service. Luckily, after a few shady calls to one of the big rental agencies I stumbled upon a good company called Buenos Aires Stay and not only do they speak English, but theyre an English run company. Their concierge Terry was a wonderful buddy to have just a call away and Lorena who was my sales girl was adorable on the phone and helped me sort through their hundreds of flats to find the ideal one for me. I believe their site is http://www.buenosairesstay.com and Im sure with them you´ll feel well taken care of. tell em Jr sent you!

My boyfriend and I are renting an apartment through bytargentina.com. So far, we have only requested the apartment. Will hope to hear back in a couple of days max. Looks like there are tons of decently-priced apartments, and reviews by people who have stayed there. I hope it doesn't turn into a horror story *fingers crossed* good luck!

BA Stay, BA Stay and BA Stay they are also http://www.buenosairesstay.com I have used them a number of times now and I must say they are simply the best - look at websites like ArgentinaHotList and others - the only agency that consistently gets people like me - genuine - users of the services in BA making positive comments to the wary travelers that mean something is BA Stay - they just get it right. There are always the odd problem but they sort through the crap and get things done. Just search for 'negative comments company name' and 'complaints company name' and you will see what i mean.
