Argentine people speak Castellano.
Argentine people use "vos" for you, but in a more respectful relation they use "Usted"
Durofrio is not known in Argentina, Palito helado can be understood although it is not very used.
To know more about Castellano:
The Spanish or Castilian language is a Romance language of the Iberian group. He is one of the six official languages of the UN and, after the Chinese mandarin, it is the language more spoken of the world by the number of speaking has that it like maternal language. [14] [15] Is also official language in several of the main international politico-economic organizations (the EU, UA, TLCAN and UNASUR, among others). They speak it like first and second language between 450 [16] and 500 [17] million people, being able to be the third spoken language more considering those than speaks like first and second 18 language [to it]. On the other hand, the Spanish is the second language more studied in the world [19] after English, with at least 17.8 million students, [20] although other sources indicate that the 46 million distributed 21 students are surpassed [] in 90 countries.

The Spanish, like the other Romance languages, is a modern continuation of the Latin spoken (denominated vulgar Latin), from century III d. C., that after the dismemberment of the Roman Empire was diverging of the other variants of the Latin which they were spoken in the different provinces from the old Empire, giving rise by means of a slow evolution to the different Latin languages. Due to his propagation by America, the Spanish is, with difference, the Latin language that has obtained greater diffusion.

1) we call it "castellano", because is as people from Spain call their language
2) in regular speech we use "vos" , in polite or when we are talking with older people we use "usted" what is more respectful.
3)Palito helado is a way to call the ice cream like Popsicle, but generically " helado" covers all kind of ice cream.
your very welcome

Juan Pablo
1)Castellano is from Spain, all people that live in Argentina speak en Castellano. Rioplatense speak in Buenos Aires and Uruguay, is a different form to speaking.

2) here we use "Vos"

3) Palito helado is the ice cream. Palito Helado = Sticky Ice... Durofrio maybe Duro Frio.. Duro = strong.. Frio = Cold..

see you..

Andrea

1- I call "castellano" to Spanish.
2- Yes, we say "vos".
3- "Durofrio" is one word that the Argentinian people don´t say it. Preferably we say "palito helado" for the ice cream´s water.

1) Argentinean official language is spanish, but we call it Castellano...
The rioplatense castilian is a dialect that arose from the huge inmigration of italians that ocurred in my country last century, from the deformation of italian words into spanish...
However, this way of talking spread throughout the country. Of course, each region has it accent and expresions, but in general we use words from the rioplatense castilian...

2) we use "vos", i don't know what "vous" means, i think it doesn't even exist... What's true, is that we are the only spanish-speaking nation that say "vos" instead of "tĂş"...

3) "palito helado", I never heard of the word "durofrio"...

Saludos y de nada!!!!!

CARLOS O
For "castellano", Argentina is the only one that uses it, as often.

The origin is "Castilla" in Spain. As the origin of the spanish language (espaniol) is from that area of Spain. As you may know Spain has several languages within it;s borders (Gallego from Galicia, city La Coruna, Catalan from Catalunya - city Barcelona, Vasque from Pais Vasco/Vasque - Euskadi, city Bilbao, etc.....)

Que lo disfrutes!

"vous" is french!
