You should never believe a word of what is told to you over the internet unless you know the person that is telling you the information. If you need to know something about this place you are traveling to, pull information that is well documented on the net and read about it. Also, books and the travel agency may be able to help you. Be careful when traveling out of the country. |

try to investigate everything first!
www. teleexplorer.com.ar and then you can check by phone number or adress and province.
Be careful and always write down in a paper where you re going to be with and who the guy is and his phone number just in case. Never invite him to your hotel and try to go there with a freind or meet him in public places
good luck |

Jimena I would play it safe and try to investigate more before meeting this guy. If you met him on the net, he could have said a bunch of lies. If you want to try the phone book (www.paginasamarillas.com.ar, www.telefonica.com.ar) you may do so but he may not be listed (not everyone is). I assume that the facts he has given you are his personal facts and not travel tips? Play it safe and if you want to meet this guy do it in a public place, dont go to his house, dont get into a taxi with him and dont tell him where you're staying. If you are travelling alone, it can get a bit dangerous if you meet a starnge guy in a foreign country. You can also tell your hotel manager where you're going just in case (God forbids) something happens. BE CAREFUL PLEASE!!! |
