Best dulce de leche and alfajores?

I'm going to Buenos Aires next week and would like the opinion of people who have eaten them. I would like to start my own busniness in NY.

Hi; been there 7 times and believe me.... I've tried them all! To me the best dulce de leche is La Salamandra. They have it in kilos, either "artesanal" or in jars for eating. Artesanal is a bit more dense, used for desserts of alfajores. If you cannot find this one (they sell it in majot supermarkets) try Sancor. The other brands I didnt like much.
About alfajores, there are Havanna which are super but my favourite are Terrabusi. You will find millions of alfajores brands but I'll stay with those 2.

Good idea, they're both awesome. The best dulce de leche I had was in Asuncion though, I wish I could remember the name of the brand.
