Buenos Aires Airport radar?
What's the reason why the Buenos Aires Airport radar hasn't been repaired in over 3 months?
Air traffic control has been traditionally controlled by the Air Force.
Since "democracy" armed forces had been loosing power over their territories.
The last goverment has finally assesed the last blow cutting finnaces to the bone. A way to take control over this and other areas. Result, neither the Air Force nor the federal government took responsability. NOW, you as a pasageerr pay the consequences.
In between, the "privatization" and rigged supply contracts (fighting parts USA against European technology)

cause is expensive and we dont have money...lucklily Spain borrows one to us...such a shame!
Mrs. Obama rules!
That radar has been broken for ages and due to lack of funds and political reasons too, it has not been repaired. Every week there are problems with certain flights and due to the expert pilots there hasnt been an accident. What are the authorities waiting for? A big accident? Apart from that, Aerolineas and Austral are always on strike so Aeroparque and Ezeiza have been in trouble for many months now.
