Spring is my favourite time, if you can get to BA in Spring, champion!!

The weather in Buenos Aires, like anywhere else, can never be predicted as an exact science. My research described here reflects average seasonal variations collated over many years - so do not shoot the messenger! If the extreme variations in weather witnessed worldwide are anything to go by my advice is to ignore historical data, forget my Buenos Aires weather forecasts and get to BAires as soon as you are fortunate enough to find the time.

Buenos Aires has a temperate climate that is characteristic of the RÃo de la Plata's coastal plain. The city is hot and humid during the summer months of December to February, with a mean high temperature of 83Â°F (28Â°C). The autumn and spring are characterised by fluctuating temperatures and uncertain, changeable weather. However, I love the both the spring and autumn because you get clear blue skies and fantastic, warm and sunny days without stifling humidity - these times of year are well worth the odd off-day and Buenos Aires has lots to do even when the weather is it poor.

The winter months of June to August are mild but humid, with a mean temperature of 52Â°F (11Â°C). The average annual temperature is slightly higher at 60Â° F (16Â° C). Frosts occur from May to September, but snowfall is extremely rare - although 2007 saw significant snowfall in Buenos Aires province. Winds are generally of low velocity and are more frequent between September and March when the gods send the occasional and spectacular electrical storm. Rainfall is heaviest during March.

In October, it's relatively cool and wet, but still around 70 degrees. In March and April, the temperature can float up to 105 degrees, and its pretty dry

I think is maybe the better season for visiting BA, the weather in that part of the year is mild

Spring time in Buenos Aires is my favorite time of the year, October through December. Not too hot not too cold....

You can watch polo played by world-renowned Argentine polo players; the high handicap polo season runs from Oct. 15 to Dec. 15.

Spring is also wine-tasting season. "Experiencia Malbec"
Finally, there's tango, always on tap but particularly vigorous this time of year.

Don't forget that on January 03 (not spring) ther is the DAKAR Rally!!!!!!
