Casual summer clothing? |
I'll be visiting BA in the summer (early-to-mid February) for general tourism purposes, and I'm wondering what appropriate clothing to wear while going about around town is.
So far, I've been told that appropriate clothing for men during the day is polos or t-shirts, non-cargo shorts, and flip-flops. For evening, I'm thinking a jacket (for more formal places), and nice jeans, loafers, and button-up shirts. Does this sound about appropriate?
I know that I will be marked as a tourist no matter what, but I believe in trying to fit in dress-wise somewhat. Given that, do those things sound about right? |

I am from Argentina. People wear the same there that we do here in America. There are a lot of people who also have their own styles, like Rollingas "the ones that dress like Mick Jagger did in the seventies". The rest of us just dress normal. Buenos Aires is very hot during the summer. You will be fine with shorts and a T-shirt to run around. At night, jeans and a shirt would be just fine. |

Depends on your style. Buenos Aires is similar to Manhattan. Alot of the Portenos are very concerned on always looking good. You'll be fine |

Just wear a shirt or t-shirt, and for your legs, jeans or bermudas (which are shorts that go down to the knee or a little bit more). Flip flops or trainers are just fine ;)

Hey! I live in Argentina so listen!!..
Here in February is very hot,but very very very hot
U can go to Mar del Plata because there is a beach so cool!! and if u went to only Buenos Aires u can go to the swimming-pool!
U can pack to your trip:flip flops,shirts,tanks,swim wear,shorts,skirts,some jeans,and thats all because here is very very hot!!!!!!!!!
