It's funny you mention El Alamo, I go with friends quite often. I've never been there for dinner but you can go and have pizza and that sort of stuff. It starts getting really busy around midnight and there will usually be a line to get in if you go around that time, even weekdays.
I would say the crowd is half Argentine, half international. I don't know why the place attracts so many tourists, I suppose it's because it is owned by Americans. What else? They will ID you to get in, my friends and I have a theory that they put something in their beer, because we never get as drunk with regular beer, there's no smoking inside, I think it's 15 pesos for girls and 20 for guys, but don't count on that, I usually get in free... whatever the price is, you can get beer with your entrance ticket, like in a club. I highly recommend it, people are always friendly and the tables are so close together you'll always meet people there.
I'm not a futbol fan so sorry, no clue about the match.
I could go on forever about places to go out to at night, but i don't know what you're looking for- local or international crowd? rock, techno or cumbia? there's too many to name, but you'll surely find something. |
