I don't speak either, but just from reading a sentence or two, can a native speaker tell if someone is Spanish (from Spain) or from South American (and even which country?) Additional Details e.g.

In some cases you could tell only by reading as there are some words and modisms that are only used in a certain country, f.e. "vos" instead of "tu". In your example, I can tell it is not Argentinean because you used the "tu" (tienes razon, if used the vos: tenés razón). On the other side, many books and texts in Argentina are written contrary to what the spoken language is, that is, using the spanish modisms vs the everyday argentinean. |

Spain has the most formal way of speaking the Spanish language. Because well...Spanish is originally from Spain.
As far as South American Spanish. Depends in the country. Many people speak their dialect.
The Peruvians might speak with an Indian/Inca influence. Argentinians speak with an Italian influence.
