That's a term used in Argentina.
As for the meaning, it can be something like "Mr." -but not quite, okay?- (as in Che Guevara) or something like dude, guy.
Oye, che! = Hey, dude!
Or, in some cases, buddy.
Che! Pero que gusto de verte! = (not a literal translation) So good to see you, buddy!

Only Argentine people use the word CHE, that it is not possible to translate.
It's used usually in the beginning pf a phrase, just to call the attention of the second person like: Hey Charles!Che Carlos
Or without the name at all
It can be used at the end of the phrase aldso but with a different meaning.
It is not easy to explain this word, sorry. |

i´m from argentina and we don´t use che at the end,we use it at the beginning.we say che to call somebody,for example:che,mary or che,what do you think about...??its something like "hey" |
