How are you sending it? From personal experience I used the USPS, which does use DHL, I believe once it gets there to deliver the package. I never had a problem, as DHL in Bs.As is pretty secure, and serious about getting the items delivered. When my wife and I were there, and waiting on her visa to be delivered, it was surprising what we had to do to pick it up from the DHL office. They wouldn't even open the door unless we had a valid reason, and a package to pickup. Shipping from the US to ARG, I sent things via USPS, and also never had a problem. You always have to worry, but I would say your chances are pretty good. |

No they do not!
I tried to send my friend a huge box of skittles for her birthday to Buenos Aires and by the time she had received it, the box was open and most of the candy was eaten! |

If you´re sending it by FedEx or any of the couriers you´re safe, although DHL once charged my parents for delivery of a package I sent from the US (and didn´t give them a receipt - so later the courier claimed they had never received any money. That was probably a scam from the delivery man).
If you send it by normal post, and it´s as big as a shoebox (or bigger) keep in mind the people in Buenos Aires might have to go to the Custums building to get it (and sometimes pay tax on it). Believe me, from own experience Custums building is NOT a nice area (Comodoro Py, retiro). |

Everything I've ever sent there has gotten there, quickly too.
I've sent a lot of stuff to my family there. Good luck!
P.S. - Trust FedEx. |

They do!
Best service: FedEX (48 hours) also DHL and UPS
If NOT special delivery via your USPS, that tavels via DHL and other carriers!
Large parcels (heavy) use air-cargo of AA or DL or CO! |
