Ever been to La Cumbre, Argentina?

Hi folks,

I am trying to organise a trip to Argentina in November. I would be travelling solo and have never been to Argentina before. I am just wondering if it's relatively safe for a woman to travel alone there?

Also, is it easy to get from Cordoba to La Cumbre? It looks pretty easy, like there are buses going there a few times a day...

I would love anyone's advise!

Thanks heaps.
Heidi

hi! there! I'm from Cordoba, Argentina!, my city can be as dangerous as anywhere else in the world (much less than in most American and Eurpoean big cities, by the way..)
It is very easy to get to la Cumbre from Cordoba to La Cumbre indeed!,
By bus is just and one hour and a half trip or may be two depending on the day of the week, ( I went there by bus just last week). the place is awsome and very safe, you will make lots of friends here; we Argentines are very friendly!
feel free to mail me if u need further tips

It's a long bus ride from Buenos Aires, about 12 hours, but it is easy. There are buses going to and from there several times a day.

It is a beautiful area, lots of green, lush forest, rolling hills, small streams and waterfalls coming off the mountains. Great for hiking.
