I have been to Buenos Aires a few times and I intend to rent an apartment this time around. The nightlife in Buenos Aires is spread throughout the city and so you really have to be very specific about what you are looking for. There are many clubs, but for a city as large as Buenos Aires, not as many as you would think. If you know what type of age group and music you wish to seek out it is easier - I found a very informative website via this medium, http://www.buenosairesstay.com and I recently asked their staff a few questions because they say you can! They were very helpful. Buenos Aires does not really get going until around 0200 and the clubs are very quiet so do not rush out - start in Palermo Soho and collect news and flyers from the various bars, they are full of people who will know where the best crack is. Last time I travelled to Floris to an 80s night and had a ball and spent a few miserable nights at Amerik-A. Pacha was great fun, but clubs open and close all the time. |
